Yes.
Very good stuff today.
Patrick Moreno is our bandleader and keyboardist.
Patrick, can you tell us what' the origin story on this band?
>>Golden Flowe actually began way back in 2020, when our drummer, Cameron was playing with our dear friend Ben Tiptonford on guitar.
They eventually brought Brandon Kyle Miller in on bass.
And so Brandon was like, hey, you should really check out these guys.
I'm playing with them.
He decided to invite me to a couple rehearsals.
I started playing with them.
Eventually, Sean, our trumpet player, came into the mix.
Probably like late 2022.
And then our our frien Ben ended up moving to New York.
Once, you know, there was no guitar.
We kind of were going as a quartet for a while.
And Caitlin, our violinist, was in a band with Brandon.
We decided to have her sit in on a couple shows and we said, man, this is the sound.
>>I love it.
So it kind of evolved to get to this point.
But a nice nice where it ended up.
Absolutely.
Very cool.
All right.
Well, let's hear some mor from Golden Flower on Studio A.

And Patrick, you guys have played a ton of gigs in and aroun Orlando since you got together.
Maybe you could tell us about one of your most interesting or favorite band moments that you've had?
>>It's hard to pin down, like a favorite or a most interesting one, but I think one where where we really kind of felt great an and it was super memorable was, we were playing at Judson's Live the day after Christmas, I think 2024.
And, we didn't have a ton of notice.
It was sort of a last minut booking and we were like, wow.
I mean, how are we goin to fill that room in two weeks?
And sure enough, it was a packed house, sold out room.
And it just was one of those concerts that everything felt magical, like no one was playing any anything that was not exactly what it needed to be.
>>Oh, don't you love that?
That is so cool.
Awesome.
Well, I think we have time for a couple more.

Next to him on bass Brandon Kyle Miller.
On trumpet Shawn Villanueva, and violin Caitlin Pequignot.
>>I am so curious.
And I know our audience is as well.
What's the origin story on the band name?
>>So the band name comes from an amalgam of what Cameron and our friend Ben's band used to be called.
>>Okay.
>>Which was Orange Flower.
We owe a lot to Ben, s we're very grateful that he was.
He was there with us.
He was reading a book calle The Secret of the Golden Flower.
>>Okay.
>>Which is about a very specific type of transcendental meditation.
He said, well, I mean, wh not just go with Golden Flower?
