I am an American Sign Language interpreter also called an ASL interpreter.

ASL interpreters are trained professionals who translate spoken messages into visual messages using facial expressions and their hands.

This is called signing.

Sign language communicates words and feelings without speaking or hearing.

I also translate sign language into spoken language.

ASL interpreters work i schools, government buildings, doctors offices, communit events, and many other places.

We are important helpers in our community because we rely messages so people can communicate and have equal access to information.
